Got 'Em Coach was supposed to be the world's foremost marketplace for user-based, online auctions, but unfortunately, and unknowingly, I started the site 15 years after eBay. That's when I turned to the NBA.

I'm not going to act like I know more about basketball than you. Neither of us played professionally, so we'll call it even. I have no access to games, and even less to players, but I think I can help you enjoy the sport.

The staff (just me) will work hard (more or less) to bring you the best basketball material (perhaps), so you keep coming back every day (why not?).

BREAKING: Los Angeles Lakers set to trade Pau Gasol, will land Chris Paul
Step 1 in “The Neil Plan” is nearly complete. Read about it here (written on 6/23/11).
Step 2? Offer Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom for Dwight Howard now. Give Kobe/CP3/Dwight as much time as possible to gel before the playoffs.
**ADDENDUM**
Looks like the prospective trade for Chris Paul includes both Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom. According to Item 2.3 of “The Neil Plan,” the Lakers had to acquire Chris Paul with just Pau Gasol, in order to trade for Dwight Howard (the better player of the two) with Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum.
The Lakers would almost certainly need a third team to complete the trade for Dwight. Again, I want to go on record: If the Lakers don’t sign Dwight, they will have just traded everything that won them 2 of the last 4 NBA Championships (unparalleled height and skill at the post positions) for the best point guard in the league, who may or may not have a bad wheel.
Gotta get Dwight. Dwight ensures 3 more runs for Kobe, and 6 years of prosperous future for the Lakers franchise.
