MUST WATCH: Team Spirit
A short documentary by Errol Morris (The Fog of War) on the fandom of a passionate few.
“I think that’s probably my first memory of any sort of sports-related funeral we did…until we got this Orioles casket.”
But my absolute favorite is the Cubs fan at 4:22 of the film.
NARRATOR: “What would you do without the Cubs?”
CUBS FAN: ”I wouldn’t sure be a White Sox fan. That’s for sure.”
Just a fantastic piece. A real joy.
