DERRICK ROSE: THE RETURN
Of course Adidas is documenting Derrick Rose’s return. Of course they are. It’s brilliant.
Adidas likely won’t surpass NIKE in any measurable metric for the foreseeable future, but they have a unique opportunity here to get everyone invested in Derrick Rose. He’s already the most humble guy in the NBA, and a clear Got ‘Em Coach favorite, but if Adidas adequately and appropriately tell the story of his #Return, the hard work and pain, it will be a master stroke for their brand, and a boon to not just NBA fans, but sports fans everywhere.
I eagerly await the next episode, and I eagerly await Rose’s #Return to the court.
