This Knicks didn’t just sign a bunch of veterans this off-season. They signed ACTUAL VETERANS!!! A COUPLE OF THESE GUYS SERVED IN VIETNAM!!! *rimshot*

The New York Knicks (we should have to symbolically call them the Knickerbockers again) currently employ the following:

Pablo Prigioni, age 35 (…and he’s an NBA rookie this season)
Marcus Camby, age 38
Rasheed Wallace, age 38
Jason Kidd, age 39
Kurt Thomas, age 40

Kurt Thomas was born the same year as Carmen Electra. Who? You know, that really old lady kids don’t care about because they’ve never heard of her.

Jason Kidd was born the year before stores started using UPC codes.

When Rasheed Wallace was born, Saturday Night Live didn’t exist.

When Marcus Camby was born, gas cost 44 cents, and the average price of a new car was $4,250.00.

When Pablo Prigioni was born, he had to wait 35+ years before he could play in an NBA game.

Smooth move getting rid of that Jeremy Lin guy.

I bet $100 that one of the 5 players listed above would be injured, and out of action for more than 20 games this season. I bet $1,000 that one of them would die from natural causes.
