Got 'Em Coach was supposed to be the world's foremost marketplace for user-based, online auctions, but unfortunately, and unknowingly, I started the site 15 years after eBay. That's when I turned to the NBA.

I'm not going to act like I know more about basketball than you. Neither of us played professionally, so we'll call it even. I have no access to games, and even less to players, but I think I can help you enjoy the sport.

The staff (just me) will work hard (more or less) to bring you the best basketball material (perhaps), so you keep coming back every day (why not?).

So sit back, or forward, depending on your current situation or seated preference, and enjoy the Internet ride.

What does the name "Got 'Em Coach" mean?

The media, and the online basketball community, are long on hyperbole, and short of perspective.
But last night was an all-time classic.
Dirk Nowitzki was so good, he has forever erased an amazing performance by the young Kevin Durant. It’s gone. Vanished. Like it never happened. Here’s Dirk’s powerful line:
48 pts (12-15 FG, 24-24 FT), 6 reb, 4 ast, 4 blk
Only 3 basketballs that left his hand, and were directed at the rim, missed going in. There are only a few killers left in this league, and make no mistake about it, Dirk is one of them. When he catches the ball in the low post, it feels like a foregone conclusion that the shot’s going in. When was the last time you felt that way?
