For the record, I totally support Arenas to the Lakers. Nothing to lose for either side.
First of all, as reported by Kyle Weldie of Truth About It, Kobe hooked Gilly up with the #IllegalGermanKnees. Washington Wizard, Nick Young:
“Yea, he’s been working out. He said he got the — I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this — but he got that Kobe treatment on his knees…”
Agent Zero lost some weight too. I just can’t see the downside? Less playing time for Kapono? The Lakers have to take a little scratch out of that golden swimming pool stuffed with million dollar bills? It was a while ago, but let me refresh your memory with Gil’s 60-point game, in Los Angeles, against Bryant.
I just don’t think Gil’s been 100% right yet. The comeback was too soon. He wasn’t healthy. There was too much pressure on him. In LA, he’s got Kobe, Gasol and Bynum. He’ll play for his hometown crowd. I just think there’s a comeback story ready to be told.
PLUS, Dwight Howard and Gilbert Arenas are good friends. What could go wrong?
(Other than firearms related death?)
Gilbert Arenas continues the NBA love affair with the Philippines.
So, Gilbert Arenas asked who were the highest paid players in the NBA, and I goofed on him a little bit. I’ll say two things about Gil:
- He was one hell of a scorer a couple years ago. One hell of a scorer.
- He’s got a good sense of humor…
…and not just because he took the joke well. Give him a follow on twitter, and I promise you won’t be disappointed. The guy gives away shoes, makes jokes, and is completely candid. Might be the best follow in the NBA: @agentzeroshow
Oh, and follow me, you rascal: @gotem_coach
